thirft is not always the same as vintage

so. yesterday, my friend tom, who is the world's greatest pessimist by the way, told me he wanted to make a blog. so i went to blogspot to see what this is all about. and i look up in the corner, and it had my e-mail address there. so i was all 'hmmm' and i typed one of the passwords i usually use when i first start an account on something, and it said welcome back of something like that. 

hehe

probably made a blog while i was upstate for new year's, because it says i made this in January of 'o9. eeeeeeenteresting. :)

anywho.

here i am. rebecca, or rebbers. or rebbie, rebs, becca, becky, pecky [[my 2 yr old cousin]], and some others, but not so importante.

im 15, born on september 7th. ive been through a lot in my life, and im not just saying that to be ultra dramatic like other peeps my age, i seriously have been through a lot. and there are 2 such events that are fresh in my head, but more about that in later blogs.

i was born and raised, and still live, in NYC. :). woohoo for the #1 most populated city in the USA! lol. its also the 13th most populated in the world. lol. im sorry, i have a lot of time on my hands and have the ability to remember a lot of useless facts and forget the 'important' ones once a test is over. lmao. :)

so today, my friends and i went to the city. one the girls heard that you could get 15 shirts for 2 dollars. lol. and she went on google maps and typed in thrift stores in manhatten. but since she is the smarticlest one of us, she thought thrift store would be the same exact thing as vintage store. the first one we got to, which took a while since i typed in something wrong on my iphone, happened to be in harlem. lol. maybe its not as bad as we all stereotype it to be, but its deff. not times square. lol. we go to the thrift store, which has clothes that looked that they were worn a billion times, given to the store, then bought from that store, worn another billion times, and given to the store again!!! as you may imagine, it smelled quite bad in there. lol. but mish and kk still found stuff to try on. lol. michele found a white dress which in her mind qualified as a wedding dress. lol. so she tried it on. 

and then we went to meet my best friend nick. lol. you'll hear about him in a LOT of blogs. lol.

and we hung out, ate, hung out, and then went home. lol.

well im madd pooped now.

ill get something interesting to write about tmrw. lol. maybe some more detail for this blog will appear in a next blog. hehe. :)
